If your child was born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020, they are due to start primary school in September 2024.
15th January 2024 – Deadline to apply for a Reception place
The deadline for on-time application was 15 January 2023. You can still make a late application.
1st March 2024 - Applications received after this date will not be offered a school place until week commencing 17th June 2024
16th April 2024 - National allocation day
16th April 2024 - Continuing interest application opens
1st May 2024 - Last date for accepting the Reception place offered
13th May - 17th May 2024 - First continuing interest run
22nd May 2024 - Last date to register an appeal
20th May - 28th May 2024 - Continuing interest application open for the second run
17th June - 21st June 2024 - Second continuing interest run
23rd July 2024 - Continuing interest list closes for primary schools
24th July 2024 - You will now need to do an in year application for a reception place in September.
