Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium grant is additional government funding designed to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. The Funding is allocated to schools for children from Reception to Year 11 who have registered for Free School Meals in the last six years.

At Maple Grove, we believe that developing an effective pupil premium strategy should be cyclical and integral to existing school development planning. In line with EEF guidance, from 2023 our Pupil Premium Strategy will be sustained over three years, with ongoing monitoring and evaluation in an annual cycle.
