Mr Jones's 100 miles in honour of Lleyton
For anyone who didn’t know, Lleyton Rogers suffered a brain bleed on Wednesday afternoon. He was operated on at Great Ormond Street on Wednesday evening and was then transferred to Intensive Care. We were all very shocked-but now delighted to report that Lleyton, in his usual indomitable style, is doing very well. He is in the children’s ward and keen to return to school!
Callum Jones, our PE specialist, has decided to raise money for this fantastic hospital by running 100 miles in February.
"Wednesday 27th January 2021 started as a normal day. By the end of the day Lleyton a pupil at my school, had been blue lighted to Great Ormond Street and successfully operated on for a bleed to the brain. I cannot fully express how amazing the team at Great Ormond Street are, and as a member of a community school I want to push myself to do something out of my comfort zone, to raise money for this amazing hospital. If you would like to contribute in any way, we would be really grateful." ~ Callum Jones
